30 Books To Movies: Breakfast At Tiffany's

An old movie. But I curious after read how good it is from one of movie magazine and how people adore Audrey Hepburn. I have read the novel before and it's makes me more curious with the movie.

The Novel

The Movie

I watched it from You Tube and so hard to understand what they talked about. They talk fast, unclear, in my opinion and no subtitle there :P . Fortunately, I have read the novel although there are some differences between them. First is about Paul or usually called Fred. In the novel he just a writer who is try to publish his writing. On the screen, he seems have affair with a women older than him. Next is about the ending. Truman Capote, an author, make it with sad ending. Holly leave Fred to go to Brazil and just sent a letter without tell where is she. Contrary, the movie has a happy ending, Holly go together with Fred. Confusing? Click here for more info. Eventhough they are different, but this movie worth to watch. My favorite part is when Holly got her cat back. It's so touchy.

The Song

I've played it when I was in junior high school. I just knew that the song is from this movie yesterday.

Moon River, wider than a mile:
I'm crossin' you in style someday.
Oh dreammaker, you heartbreaker,
Wherever you're goin', I'm goin'your way.
Two drifters, off to see the world.
There's such a lot of world to see.
We're after the same rainbow's end,
Waitin' round the bend,
My huckleberry friend,
Moon River and me.
