Green Zone

Dilemma. That was what I thinking when saw the adv on the newspaper. This movie come very late here. The DVD is coming and already leaked on YouTube. So what I should do? Buy the DVD, wait for the freaking lame buffering on YouTube or go to cinema and watch it even it was too late? The last is the best I think.

Watch the trailer here.

During the U.S.-led occupation of Baghdad in 2003, Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller and his team of Army inspectors were dispatched to find weapons of mass destruction believed to be stockpiled in the Iraqi desert. Rocketing from one booby-trapped and treacherous site to the next, the men search for deadly chemical agents but stumble instead upon an elaborate cover-up that inverts the purpose of their mission.

Spun by operatives with intersecting agendas, Miller must hunt through covert and faulty intelligence hidden on foreign soil for answers that will either clear a rogue regime or escalate a war in an unstable region. And at this blistering time and in this combustible place, he will find the most elusive weapon of all is the truth.(source)

The film inspired by the book “Imperial Life in the Emerald City” by Rajiv Chandrasekaran. People said that it was so Bourne but in different place. But it was not for me. I love him more as Bourne. Calm and cold enough. Although he still played as a man who need to figure out what the hell is going on and go alone to prove it.

The war place was looks very real. They worked well. I do not think so if they really shoot it at Irak. The action scenes was amazing but not really tighten enough.

About the story, It is quite interesting yet I already know what will happen next. I always wondering about movie that show up the topic like this. They against their own country, even it is a fiction story. How the responses from their government by the way?

Quite well but not splendid :D
