So Police Chief Parker decides to form a special unit whose mission is to take down Cohen. He chooses Sgt. O'Mara, a World War 2, vet to lead the unit. O'Mara chooses 4 cops and asks another cop and WW2 vet, Jerry Wooters to join him but Wooters is not interested. But when he witnesses the murder of a young boy by Cohen's people, he joins them, and they decide to take apart Cohen's organization. Gangster Squad was good, but not that awesome. I can tell that it was a safe choice, full of action but that's all. I was surprise to hear Ryan Gosling's voice. He sounds like . . mouse? Does he always sound like that? It was hilarious, I'm wondering why girls were crazy about him. Actually, I have watched The Notebook, where Gosling also starring, but he didn't sound like that :O Another thing that annoyed me was why Emma Stone didn't has much scenes or actions? I thought she was gonna do something big and powerful. But that I got here is a sweet, sexy yefull of dilemma girl who happens to have tomato hair :O But, still it was good movie and I enjoyed it :)

Favorite scene: duel between John O'Mara and Mickey Cohen. Bloody hell!

Ji-na, a once-popular girl band leader, hosts a radio show called “Wonderful Radio.” When the producer of the program is sacked over low ratings, a new guy comes in to fill his shoes. Jae-ik is a cold, unfriendly man who only drinks iced coffee even in the winter. The easily irritable man and the conceited former diva are bound to get on each other's nerves at every corner. During another argument with her producer, Ji-na comes up with an idea for a new feature - inviting a listener to the studio to read out their story and sing a song. The feature turns out to be a surprise success. Over time, Jae-ik and Ji-na learn more about each other and gradually they grow closer. (source)

I was so excited to watch Wonderful Radio because Lee Min Jeong starring at it. I like her perfomance in Boys Before Flower and Curano Agency. Unfortunatly, I didn't get a good English subtitle. I was watching it like I were understand Korean :p Thank God, my friend (which is a boy, interesting right? :p) has the movie and the suitable subtitle :)

The movie was so nice, funny but I don't really like the touching moment that became the core of the movie. I'm not a kind of person that easily touched and I don't like it. Guess, I just don't want to cry :p But the movie was good, especialy the the songs that Jin-A sings :)

Favorite scene: Jin-A, his handsome radio procedure and the rest of the radio crew have dinner at Jin-A's mom restaurant. Funny ;)

Silver Lining Playbook
Genre:
Drama/Comedy
Director:
David O. Russell
Cast:
Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro, Jacki Weaver, Chris Tucker and Anupam Kher

Pat Solitano, a man with bipolar disorder who is released from a psychiatric hospital and moves back in with his parents. Determined to win back his estranged wife, Pat meets recently-widowed sex addict Tiffany Maxwell, who tells him that she will help him get her back if he enters a dance competition with her. The two become closer as they train and Pat, his father, and Tiffany examine their relationships with each other as they cope with their disorders. (source)

The very clear reason why I watched this movie because of Jennifer Lawrence and how Golden Globe, Oscar and other awards event gave many nominations fot this. All I knew that this is based on a novel with the same title. I didn't know the story plot, I just guessed that the movie has a serious issue on it. When I was watching it, my guess was right. But surprisingly I also found the movie was so romantic and funny. No wonder they gained many nominations.

These two 'crazy' people try the build their new life and it wasn't easy. The romantic side of it is they way they unconciously help each other and the funny side is how stubborn and crazy they are when they were trying to make it works :p

Favorite scene: Pat meets Tiffany while he is running. They meet again and again next day. They even case each other around before Pat asks Tiffany to go out with him :')
