Kung Fu Panda 2 is about the continuance of The Dragon Warrior’s adventure, Po. With The Furious Five, Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey, he is protecting The Valley of Peace. But one day he sees a familiar symbol in one of bandits that he punches. The symbol remains him to his mom and him when he was a baby. It also leads him and the furious five to Shen, an ambitious peacock. It seems like Shen knows Po’s past better than his noodle maker dad. But he and the Furious Five have to bring him down because Shen prepares a secret and unstoppable weapon to killing of Kung Fu and conquer China.
Kung Fu Panda 2 is awesome but not as awesome as the first movie. That’s my opinion and plus added a bit from my boyfriend’s opinion hehehe. I do not know why but I feel not really entertain as before. Maybe it’s because the movie is coming late to my country and I have watched a lot of clip of the movie and made me already know some funny and important scenes. And no powerful line which can defeated “yesterday is history, tomorrow is mystery and today is a gift. That’s why it called present” :)
The story itself is not bad. The past life of Po before adopted by Mr. Ping, the noodle maker is take place much in this sequel. The little Po is so cute and makes me touched :’) But I think that’s the point makes the movie not really enjoyable for me. The movie parted into many branches. First, Po’s past life, Shen’s past life, the extinct of Kung Fu and many more. And a lot of confusing visualization between present time and flash back. I mean the drawing or whatever you called it. It just too much for me, guys :o But those are not forbid me to laugh and laugh again. It seems like Po looks slimmer than before and his Kung Fu is awesome. It is good actually ;)
My favorite part is like what I said above. It is when Mr. Ping found a little Po in his radish bucket. He was so little (according to Po’s present size) and so hungry. I can’t stand when heard that baby weeping :’)
At last, Kung Fu Panda 2 is recommended to watch. I see many good ratings and response from this movie. If I said something bad about it, maybe my mind is contaminated by my boyfriend’s opinion and made me write this weird review. Oh one more thing, I think the second sequel is about to coming two years later, according to this ending and Po's life would be clear than ever. Curious? Watch it asap :D
Em, how it could be? The movie is the most awesome... :D
