Mini Reviews: The Perks of Being Wallflower and Glee: The 3D Concert Movie

The Perks of Being Wallflower

Charlie begins his freshman year apprehensive due to the death of his only good friend Michael, who commited suicide several months before. He does not feel that he can lean on his parents or older siblings or support, because they never truly understand him. He also explains that the only relative that he ever felt close to was Aunt Helen, but she was killed in a car accident on his seventh birthday. Charlie soon befriends two seniors, Sam and her step-brother Patrick. The two introduce him to many new experiences like going to parties, going on his first date, and trying various drugs. He soon has strong feeling for Sam.

The Perks of Being Wallflower was . . what can I say? Infite? I watched it twice to really understand the story. At first, it was boring. But the second, it was really interesting and surprisingly good. It depicted an emotionly trouble freshman boy so good. He finds that everybody has a story, worse than him. He then learn from them and stand up for himself. I really love it. I wish I can read the novel sooon :D

Favorite scene: Charlie's first kiss with Sam :')

Glee: The 3D Concert Movie was fine. It was kinda guilty pleasure for me. I dunno why I  was suddenly watching it. I guess I just want to see Cory is singing for last time :'( The songs they are singing are from first and second seasons. But not only the footage of the concert, three teenagers and a mini Warbler share their experiences and how characters and story from Glee changed them. I never knew Glee was such a big deal there :O

Favorite scene: Artie and Mike are singing 'Pretty Young Thing'
