Literature Bazaar

Entrepreneurship was one of course that I took in the sixth semester. The lecturer gave the class a lot of assignments. Remember when I had to go to BSM to survey or be a volunteer at Reading Lights? Those were nothing compared to this final assignment. Bazaar!

@anyapritafania, @justpoet, @ppermatasari, @rimamari @yiyiyeey and I were in the same group and we named our stand Kedai Sunshine. We were selling spaghettis, cup corns, es mie telor and secondhand magazines.

The bazaar held in two days. It was really really make my friends and me exhausted. But alhamdulillah, everything was going well. Everything sold out except the secondhand magazines. It was fun though. Especially endahNrhesa performed on the first day beside our bazaar. It helps us to sell yet it wasn’t the part of our event :p

Now it is the time to do the report :D

Character Thursday #4: Skandar Claresta Ardelazam on Dunsa

Skandar Claresta Ardelazam adalah seorang pangeran di kerajaan Naraniscala. Orangtuanya adalah Maharaja Claresta dan Putri Danella. Ayahnya telah meninggal dibunuh oleh Ratu Merah. Pangeran Skandar adalah sosok lelaki yang baik hati, tidak sombong, ramah, jago bertarung, rajin membaca, wawasannya luas . . pokoknya sempurna banget lah. Dia tergabung dalam pasukan istana yang bernama Sena Naraniscala dan mempunyai kuda yang dia rawat sendiri bernama Hanan. Semua kesempurnaannya itu ditunjukan dengan sikapnya yang memaafkan Merphilia Dunsa, anak Ratu Merah dan kemungkinan besar adalah saudara tirinya dan bahkan terlibat kisah asmara dengannya. 

Saking sempurnanya tokoh Pangeran Skandar ini, aku malah jadi kurang suka. Rasanya gak ada sesuatu, hal kecilpun, yang bisa membuat aku simpati dan merasakan gimana kehidupan si pangeran ini. Tokoh ini emang ada di dalam novel fantasi. Tapi rasanya nggak harus serba sempurna kan?

Kalo novel Dunsa ini diangkat ke layar lebar, kayaknya yang cocok buat meranin Pangeran Skandar adalah . . . Iko Uwais! Kenapa? Aku juga nggak tau kenapa hahahaha. Mungkin karena Iko ini emang lagi tenar banget. Jadi dia deh yang masuk ke pikiran aku. Tapi kayaknya Iko terlalu tua ya :o

Three Things Thursday

First, my friends and I went to Indonesia Hijab Festival2012. I got a scarf and inners from Elzatta Hijab, a pink shawl from Chic Look and a Stacy vest from Snowbelle Butiq. Happy :D

Second, I booked Pagaden as my Kuliah Kerja Nyata place. KKN is kind of volunteering and doing community service. Hope it’s gonna be fine and fun, fun, fun :D

Third, Germany woooooooon!

I was not in the mood when I went to Gramedia. So I didn't check book a lot. But I found this pretty little thing. Cuteeeeeee :D

Snow White and the Huntsman

Snow White and the Huntsman is about Queen Revenna who is very powerful because of her beauty. She wants to keep beautiful and immortal. So one day, she asks a magic mirror how to have it all. The magic mirror says that Queen Revenna has to eat Snow White’s heart that apparently becomes more beautiful than the queen. Snow white herself is a late king’s daughter and she is being kidnapped since she is child. Queen Revenna asked her brother, Finn, to bring Snow White but Finn failed her. Snow White escapes to the dark forest. The dark forest is the scariest place with unpredictable things; even Queen Revenna cannot use her power. So she asked a huntsman who has been there. The huntsman helps Snow White instead brings her to the Queen Revenna. Meanwhile Prince William, Snow White’s old friend just knew that Snow White is still alive. Then he joined Finn to find her.

You will not find a sweet and cute fairytale in Snow White and the Huntsman. Because the atmosphere was very dark yet I kinda like it :D. The story was good but it was little confusing and too slow in the middle of movie.

I can’t write a lot about the plot because we already know what would happen to Snow White. Let’s go to the characters, shall we? Charlize Theroni as Queen Revenna was soooooooooo beautiful. I cannot believe why the magic mirror tells us that Snow White is more beautiful that her :p. She is the magnet of this movie, not Stewart. Speaking of Stewart, the acting in this movie was just so so. I still think that she is not Snow White who has to full of spirit. She is just Bella with British accent and dark hair. Sorry, Stewart :p. Then I also still think that the Huntsman is Thor. Because he uses an axe, which is looks like a hammer, to fight.

At last, Snow White and the Huntsman offers a good and new version of fairytale movie which is darker and tough. But the actors did not support it, especially Kristen Stewart as the main role, Snow White. Uuuuh, so disappointed. Moreover I watched it twice. First I watched it with my boyfriend and then I had to watch it again because I won free tickets. You can imagine how disappointed and tired of Stewart’s expression I am.

So might be like it, because you like Twilight stuff or else. But I myself cannot agree with it :)

The first match of them was this morning (in my country) and they faced Portugal. The match was so boring yet they won :D

I can't hardly wait to see another matches. Germany will win and I know it :D. By the way, I promise to do my homework if Germany won. Well, this is the time to work it out. See ya :p

Elena Gilbert adalah seorang gadis berambut keemasan yang sangat memesona sehingga bisa mendapatkan apapun yang dia mau dengan segera, bisa barang maupun lelaki. Dia sendiri mempunyai gelar sebagai Queen Bee di sekolahnya serta mempunyai banyak teman dan pengikut setia. Mereka adalah Bonnie, Meredith, Caroline dan Frances. Kecantikannya membuat dia merasa pantas untuk mendepak mantan pacarnya, Matt dan langsung berpindah pada seorang siswa baru, Stefan. Stefan yang tidak terlalu mempedulikan Elena, membuat Elena malah lebih terpacu untuk mendapatkannya.

Dibandingkan dengan kehidupan sekolahnya yang bergelimangan kemudahan, Elena hanya tinggal dengan Bibi Judith dan sepupu kecilnya, Margaret. Kedua orangtuanya sudah meninggal dan Elena tampaknya tidak mau membahas hal tersebut.

Tokoh Elena dalam novel pertama seri The Vampire Diaries ini tidak menimbulkan sikap simpati dari pembaca. Hal ini sangat berbeda dengan tokoh Elena dalam TV seriesnya. Tokoh yang diperankan oleh Nina Dobrev ini menampilkan sosok gadis baik-baik, rapuh tapi bisa tegar yang tentunya disenangi oleh masyarakat. Aku tentunya lebih milih Elena versi TV series dan kecewa dengan versi novelnya.

Nyipunagara

My father asked me to go to his office in Cipunagara 2 Junior High School. This is his third request. Luckily, now I have a lot of free days and can fill his request. The trip took more than three hours. But it was worth :)

The school was . . unbelievable! I cannot believe my father is going there almost every day. He is so proud with his job. It makes me so proud of him. And most of all, I’m thankful that I have a better place and facilities to study than them. I should study harder and be better  :’)

Ps. My boyfriend didn’t pass as 30 finalists of Duta Bahasa Jawa Barat 2012. Yet I’m so proud him. You’ll get something better than it, mon cher. Keep fighting :D
