Dilemma. That was what I thinking when saw the adv on the newspaper. This movie come very late here. The DVD is coming and already leaked on YouTube. So what I should do? Buy the DVD, wait for the freaking lame buffering on YouTube or go to cinema and watch it even it was too late? The last is the best I think.
Watch the trailer here.
During the U.S.-led occupation of Baghdad in 2003, Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller and his team of Army inspectors were dispatched to find weapons of mass destruction believed to be stockpiled in the Iraqi desert. Rocketing from one booby-trapped and treacherous site to the next, the men search for deadly chemical agents but stumble instead upon an elaborate cover-up that inverts the purpose of their mission.
Spun by operatives with intersecting agendas, Miller must hunt through covert and faulty intelligence hidden on foreign soil for answers that will either clear a rogue regime or escalate a war in an unstable region. And at this blistering time and in this combustible place, he will find the most elusive weapon of all is the truth.(source)
The film inspired by the book “Imperial Life in the Emerald City” by Rajiv Chandrasekaran. People said that it was so Bourne but in different place. But it was not for me. I love him more as Bourne. Calm and cold enough. Although he still played as a man who need to figure out what the hell is going on and go alone to prove it.
The war place was looks very real. They worked well. I do not think so if they really shoot it at Irak. The action scenes was amazing but not really tighten enough.
About the story, It is quite interesting yet I already know what will happen next. I always wondering about movie that show up the topic like this. They against their own country, even it is a fiction story. How the responses from their government by the way?
Quite well but not splendid :D

I was watching Opini on local television which reported Adhyatmika won Democracy Video Challenge (DVC). He's an Indonesian and so proud to know it. Watch his video below :D
The most anticipated movie for me and my friends!!
Watch the trailer here.
BLOOD OF EAGLES is the second film of the highly acclaimed RED AND WHITE TRILOGY. An epic, action-packed intrigue thriller set in Java during Indonesia's War of Independence in 1947, BLOOD OF EAGLES follows a heroic band of guerrilla soldiers, portrayed brilliantly by an all-star cast of Indonesia's most talented young actors.
Divided by the secrets of their past and deep conflicts in personality, class and religion, the four young men unite to stage a desperate assault on a Dutch internment camp in order to rescue the women they love, played by the nation's most talented young professionals.
The cadets link up with General Sudirman's guerrilla headquarters, where they are given a top-secret mission behind enemy lines in West Java: a commando-style strike on a vital airfield that could help turn the tide of rebel resistance against the ruthless advance of General Van Mook's August 1947 offensive.
The guerilla band penetrates deep into West Java, where they encounter a rival band of Islamic separatists, along with new allies and potential traitors, colonial spies in their own rank and civilian allies from the streets, and an old enemy in charge of Dutch intelligence.
Surrounded by the enemy around, the enemy above and the enemy within, the heroes must band together and trust each other as they battle intrigue, infighting, betrayal and the overwhelming power of a mighty European empire, in pursuit of a single goal: Freedom. (source)
Flat and formal. But Donny Alamsyah as Thomas saved it! <----- very personal opinion :p
Well, back to the movie. Yes the dialogues were very formal. Maybe it because the story written in English and translated into Bahasa Indonesia and they did not know much how Indonesian speaks. The results is here. Beside that, I and my friends a little bit confused in the first 30 minutes. You have watch this? I just wanna ask, Is that twins or not? Or you can just forget it. I don't want you to be confuse as me and my friends. Yet anything else was better than the previous one.
IMO, they leaked the points and the commercial scenes on the trailer. What I enjoy almost what I already watched on the trailer and feeling the same. Although there was the bloody awesome scene is when Dayan or Wayan, I forget his name, almost miss the plane. I know what will happened next but it was really interesting.
Love, love, love, love him!! :*
Lets wait for the third movie, the last of this trilogy of freedom next year. Do you know what the title is? I sure you won't believe as what I felt when read it for the first time. the title is HATI MERDEKA or if I translate into English, it would be HEART of FREEDOM.
I had thought that they will be on February. Just a joke, guys! :p

Spent my last Mon(holi)day alone by watched this. Actually I didn't interested enough with this one. But after read a lot of tweets and they said it was bloody awesome, I forced myself to went out to cinemas.

After went to Mekkah, Darwis changed his name became Akhmad Dahlan. He's worries about the rules of Islam at his home town, Kauman, which make other people thinks that Islam is a mystic religion.
By built a house that become a praying place and school for poor people, he prove that Islam can guide us to happiness. Dahlan keep going with his beliefs and arranged an organization with his students, Sudja, Fahrudin, Hisyam, Syarkawi and Abdulgani. Yet the older people who fanatic can accept it directly. They accuse that Dahlan is crazy with all that he did.
I brought a low expectation into the the theater and something that I got so incredible! The setting, the costum, and the actors of course. The story was so flat at the beginning. The pieces of black-white movie were so riddicolus. But I enjoy it until the end and feel 'brighter' same as the title.
My random thought: Boedi Oetomo also appeared a while and I was like ' It such a fun way to know and also know about our hero. How if they make a movie about Boedie Oetomo too? If they are, then make a movie about Gus Dur, Hatta or another then we have The Avengers in Indonesia version ' :p
I really am interested with who play Daniel when he was a kid. Who he is? He so cute by the way :p
My favorite part is when Dahlan play his viola to explain what is exactly Islam is. It has cooling me down.
I can learn something from it because I am a Muslim. But for those who different, this film can help you to understand what Islam is and it is maybe totally out of your thought before. Watch it! :D

Finally, I published my novel although it is in electronic version. This is about my first love. Did I mention who is he? Well you can read it on the cover. Here is this!
You can download it for free but you must sign in as member. Or you can just read it free but you can't get the copy of it.
I wrote it in Bahasa Indonesia and already put the flipbook at the end of this blog. Easier for you.
Enjoy. :D

What? A princess??
Me??? Yeah, right.
Mia Thermopolis is pretty sure there's nothing worse than being a five-foot-nine, flat-chested freshman, who also happens to be flunking Algebra.
Is she ever in for a surprise.
First Mom announces that she's dating Mia's Algebra teacher. Then Dad has to go and reveal that he is the crown prince of Genovia. And guess who still doesn't have a date for the Cultural Diversity Dance? (source)
You are suddenly become a princess and you hate it? Are you crazy or something? I don't understand where the world she thinking about. She was invisible. Actually she can get anything she wants if she is a princess. For this case, yes she is and she hates it. Maybe she is just too innocent.
I enjoy read it. Although, I was little bit confused with the opening, prologue or whatever it is. After it I love this book. But I didn't get any point. It just have-fun book.
I still have my favorite part. It is when Mia and Tina discuss the story from what Tina read currently. The themes were so so so last year. But I shocked, just a bit, when read this.
"The book was called I Think My Name Is Amanda, and it was about a girl who woke up from a coma and couldn’t remember who she was. This really cute boy comes to visit her in the hospital and tells her that her name is Amanda and that he’s her boyfriend. She spends the rest of the book trying to figure out whether or not he’s lying."
That is what exactly I dreamed about him! Goood! It means that I was so last year?
I got a new word: flunking. I didn't search for the meaning until I finished read the book. Now I know :)
The movie
Watch the movie here
When I watched it I thought about ' it is just another teen-drama-romantic-comedy film'. I can't blame it. Maybe it because I watched it now, when the film like this is everywhere. Look at Josh. I never ever like or even date a guy like him now days. But it would be different if I watched it years ago. Sometimes love is so crazy and blind.
But it nice to watch with your girlfrieds or even your boyfriend. Perhaps he would realize that he already has a princess by his side :P
ps. I just realize that Mandy Moore played a role as Lana here!
It was quite difficult to decide which the best. Mia's mom seeing Mia's teacher make the story more complicated but I can not ignore how nice it is to spent a weekend with your grandma and skip a princess-to-be class.
Gosh, I think I love both of it :)
Feeling happy to go out and spent a lot of money on last Monday. First, watched Sang Pencerah. Then went to books store there. Luckily, my camera phone use well and can captured these books.
Well, the next one is not a book at all. It's Momsen :p
And I bought this.
When I would go home, I met my senior high school friend. Very surprised. She knew I am all alone and said " You are still autism as before, Dhyn". I just laughed.

Several days ago, I received a text inform that there is a scholarship from US. More details I have to check my department. It is quite nice. I was so excited and imagine how would happen if I got it.
But next day, in shower, I thought. Do I deserve for it? My English is so awful. I am not sure I can survive there. But I keep imagine how fun it is.
I want it. I always want to go abroad. It is possible for me?
So envy to read Rebecca's from The Clothes Horse go travel to Europe. Fyi, I always dream to go to France and see Eiffel. Breathless to saw this.
Someday, please please, make my dream comes true.

Wow!
This is first trailer for Clint Eastwood’s supernatural drama. I think I would not posted it if I didn't realize that Damon is there.
Hereafter opens October 22nd, 2011
